Get Involved
How you can get involved in Minnesota's DFL, right here in our Senate District...
It's easy to get involved in events in Senate District 63. It all depends upon what you want to do. If you are interested in keeping in touch with activities in the district via e-mail, you can join one of our Yahoo! Groups, depending upon your particular interests. You should check out the links to your right under Ways to Get Involved.
If you wish to volunteer, you should use the form below (or the link to the right) to get on our volunteer list. You should also check out the DFL calendar to find out about upcoming events. You can find information about group doorknocks, house parties, and much more.
Another great way to get involved is to contact your Precinct Chair. You can find your precinct chair listed here:
(If you don't know your precinct, you can either ask our Chair, or use the Secretary of State's Pollfinder.)
Precinct Caucuses
Of course, the way that everyone in Minnesota should get involved in grassroots politics is to attend their precinct caucuses. The 2008 precinct caucuses will be held on February 5th.
Volunteering with the local DFL
For other activities, we should start by getting some basic information so that we know how you want to be involved:
If you want to get involved in other ways, you can contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Ann Wendel, at 612-869-2169.
